Mary and I often joke about how we've spent the last 50 years since our graduation driving up and down York Rd. We never lived far from VF and have stayed closely connected. As a Parma Hts. policeman from 1973 to 1981, I worked security at VF. During 3 terms as a Parma Hts. councilman from 1990 to 1999, I was a member of a financial review committee for Parma Schools. Our 3 daughters, a niece and 2 nephews attended VF from 1985 to 2000. (Our son broke the Lear family tradition at VF and instead went to St. Ignatius.) Mary and I spent many seasons in the stands cheering them on. And as a State Farm Agent in Parma Hts. for over 36 years (now retired), we have been supporters of many VF activities. Valley Forge will forever remain in our hearts. Go Patriots!
